We would like to thank all our patients for your patience and understanding over the past month while we upgraded our IT and phone systems. This significant upgrade ensures we're ahead of "The Big Switch Off" - the industry-wide transition from analogue landlines to digital phone lines by January 2027.
This upgrade changed our main practice phone numbers and Client Care Team email addresses.
Please now use the following contact details:
• Synergy Biddulph: 01782 983 833
• Synergy Burslem: 01782 498 181
By contacting our practices directly, you'll benefit from faster responses, personalised service and the ability to avoid unnecessary phone or email loops.
We begin by updating your personal and medical details, exploring your individual risks, and discussing your family dental history.
We then thoroughly examine your teeth, gums, jaw joint, and mouth, including an essential oral cancer screening.
Advanced technology, such as digital X-rays and intra-oral scans, supports precise diagnoses, enabling us to create personalised treatment plans tailored just for you.
Celebrate Easter with us! We will be holding a special raffle prize draw for our patients and social media followers.
You have the chance to win this stunning hamper filled with Easter goodies!
The winners will be randomly selected on 14th April - Good luck!
This new feature is our small way of showing appreciation to our wonderful patients. Each month, we randomly select a date and a patient visiting us on that day to be our Patient of the Month.
In March, our lucky patients were Lynn and Janet; this month it could be you!
Great outcomes are always a team effort! That's why we're excited to launch "Synergy Stars," a new initiative to celebrate the often unseen members of our team who make your visits special.
We warmly encourage you, our valued patients, to get involved by voting for a team member who truly stood out during your visit. Your votes help us recognise our team's exceptional effort.
The team member with the most votes each month will become our Synergy Star of the Month and receive a special token of appreciation for their dedication and outstanding service.
We are thrilled to welcome Amber back to the Synergy Dental family! Amber first joined our practice in 2016 as a trainee dental nurse. After qualifying and gaining valuable experience as a dental nurse, she left us just before the Covid pandemic to pursue a new career path as a paramedic.
We're delighted that Amber has returned to us in a new and exciting role as Assistant Practice Manager at our Biddulph practice, starting in February.
With her diverse experience and dedication to patient care, Amber is already making a positive impact and is an excellent addition to our management team.
Welcome back, Amber; we're excited to have you with us again!
Dehydration can reduce saliva production, leading to dry mouth, which increases the risk of tooth decay and gum disease. Make sure to drink plenty of water throughout the day, especially if you’re spending time in the sun or participating in physical activities. Water not only keeps you hydrated but also helps wash away food particles and bacteria from your teeth.
Summer is synonymous with ice cream, fizzy drinks, and sugary snacks, which can harm your teeth. Opt for healthier alternatives like fresh fruits, vegetables, and cheese. These snacks provide essential nutrients and stimulate saliva production, which naturally cleanses your mouth and reduces the risk of cavities.
It’s easy to skip brushing and flossing when you’re out of your regular routine, such as when travelling or attending summer events. However, maintaining your oral hygiene routine is crucial. Pack a travel-sized toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss if you’re on the go. We love the Curaprox travel set, which has all the tools you’ll need for your holiday. Aim to brush at least twice a day and floss daily to remove plaque and food particles that can lead to dental issues.
